Ocean Desjardins is a passionate advocate for LGBTQIA+ individuals, dedicated to helping others heal from the wounds of rejection, shame, and religious trauma.

During their early teens, Ocean became deeply involved with evangelical churches and ministries, seeking a sense of belonging and purpose. However, as they began to navigate their own developing identity and sexuality, they quickly found themselves infused with feelings of shame, struggling with the tension between their faith and their true self. 

For many years, Ocean wrestled with this inner conflict, grappling with the belief that their sexuality was at odds with their spirituality. This soul-crushing and unnecessary religious shame weighed heavily on them. After many years of struggle, Ocean eventually found liberation, breaking free from the harmful doctrines that had once bound them. In doing so, they began to see the beauty, strength, and inherent power that exists within all queer people.

 Ocean has since met many other queer souls who, like them, have been wounded by cruel religious and societal attitudes toward LGBTQIA+ individuals. Their experiences have fueled a deep commitment to advocating for LGBTQIA+ people in all spaces—be it religious, societal, or personal.

 Ocean is now dedicated to encouraging others to live boldly and unapologetically in their true identities, while also encouraging those who have suffered religious trauma to begin their healing journey.
